If you're still unable to resolve the issue,share feedback about speakers and displays. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app. At the top right, tap Settings Remove device Remove. At the top right, tap Settings Home choose a home tap Next choose a room tap Next.
Just say "Hey Google" to control your lights and set them to any settings you like. From here you’ll need to find your bulb maker’s logo and follow the steps to complete the setup. You may be required to sign in to your bulb makers app to complete the setup. Download the Google Home app to your phone or your tablet. The app can be found on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Use the Google Home app
Once the app has discovered the light, tap it to select. Tap the back arrow icon to return to the main screen of the Google Home app. All your Philips Hue lights and Rooms will now be listed.
Tap your bulb maker’s logo follow the steps to complete setup. You may need to sign in to your bulb maker’s app. The app will guide you through the rest of the steps. When using “Works with Google Assistant”smart bulbs, you’ll need to set up your lights with the bulb maker’s standard instructions. You may need to set up a bridge or a hub if you haven’t already. To create any Routine, enter the voice command you'll use to tell the Google Assistant to start the Routine.
Schedule and control multiple lights with Routines
If the above steps don’t work, you may need to factory reset your C by GE bulb and set up the bulb again. Turn the bulb off and on. The bulb takes up to one minute after receiving power to reconnect to the speaker or display. Try your light and check if it works. To control your lights more easily, assign them to a room in a home.
Google Home Mini lets you select between several voices; you can play samples of each and decide on the one you want. When you've chosen one, tap Next. For a limited time, you can play Google Assistant in John Legend's voice. Once you have these things, plug in your Google Home device.
Assign your bulbs to a room
You can create a new home, create a new room, or add your lights to an existing room. Open the Google Home app touch and hold the light you want. You'll find controls for brightness. If your bulb has color options, you'll also find color controls. Follow the bulb maker’s instructions to set up your bulb. You may need to set up a bridge or hub, if you haven’t already done so.
The App definitely falls on the pro list. It is quick and easy to set up and gives you plenty of controls to mess and play around with. I found Alexa faster when it comes to changing the lights quickly and having an immediate response than Google Home, but the difference was not significant. We’re always happy to help! Choose the home in which you’d like to set up your light. In the next screen, select Philips Hue from the list. You can scroll to find it or type “Philips Hue” in the search bar at the top of the screen. You must always enter a voice command in the app, but if you schedule your Routine, it will start at the set day and time without the voice command. How do I add new Hue bulbs?
